Replacement of the ball mill Trunnion No. 1
PROBLEM: The old ball mill Trunnion was fissured, by this reason the hood was misaligned, and this was causing the deterioration of it. As well the grinding media of the mill was worn.
SOLUTION: Dismantling and assembly of the new ball mill Trunnion.
RESULTS: New grinding media to the load of the ball mill, a new ball mill Trunnion without fissures and the alignment of the hood and the optimization of the cement grinding process.

Maintenance of the ATTOX raw mill
PROBLEM: there was wear on the bearings of the ATTOX raw mill rollers and increased the oil consumption of the rollers, and this was generating shots in the lubrication unit.
SOLUTION: Assembly of the new bearings, replacement of retainers and repair of the rollers to minimize the oil consumption and continue with the normal operation of the mill.
RESULTS: New bearings and retainers to the raw mill rollers, decrease of the oil consumption and a normal operation of the mill.

Replacement of the cyclone dip tube No. 3
PROBLEM: The cyclone dip tube No. 3 was worn because of the temperature and then it lose all of this duct and this created problems of fake air inside the cyclone.
SOLUTION: Assembly of the new dip tube original in stainless steel according to the design of FLSmidth.
RESULTS: Optimization of the process, taking again to normal operation and to the appropriated temperature the preheating system in the cyclones.

Tolu Viejo Plant - 2011
Ferrule wheel replacement 2, Civil labor and kiln
PROBLEM: The ferrule was fissured on the wheel No. 2 and the kiln was misalignment.
SOLUTION:Replacement of 2 ferrules, 6 and 12 feet long on the run down area.
RESULTS: Alignment kiln and shell in good conditions to its production labor.

PROBLEM: Low production efficiency
SOLUTION: Replacement of intermediate and output partitions and lining.
RESULTS: Increased production by 15%.

Repair in the Cement Kiln
PROBLEM: Between ferrules 18 and 19 there were partial fissures in the union with profundity of 70% of it thickness.
SOLUTION: Repair by welding procedure.
RESULTS: At the end of the project there werenít fissures and that was checked with an ultrasonic with satisfactory results. .

PROBLEM: Deficiencies in the cement mill by an obsolete collector system, dedusting duct separator
SOLUTION: Manufacture and installation of dedusting duct for the new dust collector. New mill and separator increasing its production of 14 ton in 18 ton hours hours
RESULTS: A new dedusting system for cement mill and reduced pollution and dust to the environment.

Replacement of the Renk Kjav 112 Reducer Bearings of the Drive System raw mill. Replacement of coal mill drop hammer. Maintenance of raw mill. Maintenance of Kiln No. 1
PROBLEM: The useful life of the reducer bearing was over, and raw and coal mill equipment were deteriorated on their coverings. Reliability of the furnace was decreasing.
SOLUTION: General repair of the reducer, the raw and coal mill and preventive maintenance of the kiln.
RESULTS: equipment working with high reliability and performance in its production.

SOLUTION: Replacement of the epoxy mounting plate.
RESULTS: Ensure the machine work for next two years without problems on the plates of the bowl.
